CV-Library, one of the UK’s fastest growing job sites, has announced that it now has two million live CVs registered in its online database.
After hitting one million CVs in October 2008, CV-Library has managed to double this figure in only a year, growing from a two man office into a Hitwise Top 10 recognised site. This is particularly impressive considering it hasn’t had any corporate backing like many of its competitors, but has achieved organic growth.
Director Lee Biggins comments “CV-Library is proud to hit two million CVs, but it is not only the size of the database that is important, it is the phenomenal rate we are registering candidates on a daily basis.”
With 100,000 CV registrations and 379,000 job applications per month, CV-Library is extremely proud of its rapid growth. CV-Library is also in the process of expanding and is also planning on recruiting more team members in the coming months. This expansion is a positive sign given the current market. This also highlights that many recruiters are still choosing to predominantly recruit from online databases rather than source candidates from other forms of media, particularly social media.
The company has been nominated for a customer service award at the 2009 London and South East Recruitment Awards and has also been nominated as Best Generalist Job Board in the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs) 2009.
