FE Careers announce partnership with the 157 Group

FE Careers and FE News have formed a media partnership with the 157 Group.
FEnews.co.uk is the largest independent online news site in the Further Education and Skills sector, with regular columnists ranging from Skills Minister Kevin Brennan, Shadow Skills Minister David Evennett, to AoC President Pat Bacon, Edexcel’s Isabel Sutcliffe to David Collins from LSIS. The 157 Group will now also start writing regular columns on FE News. As a part of the partnership the 28 member colleges of the 157 Group will have access to promote their latest news and events on FE News and to have reduced job advertising on FE Careers. FEcareers.co.uk is the largest online job advertising site that is a specialist in the Further Education and Skills sector.
The 157 Group is an influential group of 28 colleges, who are dedicated to promoting excellence and raising the standard of Further Education and Skills in the UK. The 157 Group was formed in 2006, in response to the Foster review of the future of Further Education, where in paragraph 157 he argued that principals of large successful colleges should play a greater role in policymaking.
FE News and FE Careers CEO Gavin O’Meara explains the significance of the partnership:
