Exciting news from the whatjobsite partner site Jobsite who have announced that they have signed as the main club sponsor of Portsmouth Football Club.
The sponsorship marks the start of a new phase of brand activity for Jobsite, building on the huge success of their TV campaign during the last year. This latest activity confirms Jobsite’s commitment to becoming the UK’s best known online recruitment brand and demonstrates the importance they place on finding new and different ways to reach consumers.
Keith Potts, Jobsite CEO, says: “This is another bold step into new territory for Jobsite. Our TV campaign proved massively successful in helping us to raise brand awareness but Jobsite have never been a company to rest on our laurels. Becoming the main club sponsor for Portsmouth FC will allow us to reach a huge number of our target demographic – for example over 4.2 million people watch Match of the Day on a weekly basis. ”
From the start of the new season in August, the Jobsite logo will take pride of place on the shirts of the Portsmouth players, at multiple points both inside and outside of the stadium, across the Portsmouth FC website, on match day programmes/tickets, on official club merchandise and across the interview backdrop which features on Sky and BBC football coverage. On top of this extensive branding, the sponsorship package includes the renaming of the Fratton end of the ground to become the Jobsite Stand, appointment as PFC’s official recruitment partner, comprehensive hospitality opportunities, player appearances and use of the stadium facilities.
Peter Storrie, CEO of Portsmouth Football Club comments, “We’re delighted to welcome Jobsite as our new main club sponsor, in what represents the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s history. We have been impressed by Jobsite’s attitude and approach to supporting the Club and believe that they will be a great partner. Jobsite are joining at an exciting time for the club and we look forward to building a close working relationship with them in the future.”
