Popular job board reed.co.uk reveals new look and functionality

Reed.co.uk, the popular UK generalist job boards, has relaunched its site with a raft of new functionalities and a new look.
The new site has been a year in the making and features a full overhaul of the job search functionality includes new features for recruiters.
“With more than 3.5 million unique visitors every month, we started this project with a huge responsibility to our existing users, as well as to the thousands of new jobseekers who register with us every day,” says Vickie Birnage, Head of Product Effectiveness at reed.co.uk. “By taking the best bits of the old site and combining them with new, usability-led features and functionality, we’ve been able to deliver what we think is the best online jobseeking experience available… Every page has been re-designed and every user journey analysed to give the most intuitive, supportive and effective service.”
The redesign also features new online recruitment products for recruiters. A new ‘Display’ job ad will enable employers to create fully-branded job details pages. Company profiles have been refreshed to allow video and other interactive content. And new targeted display advertising options have also been included throughout the site.
