rtmjobs.com registers over 1500 new candidates a month

The team at rtmjobs.com are celebrating the fact they have managed to register an average of 1,624 new candidates every month, 64 per cent more than their closest competitors.
The site, which only went live in April 2009, is part of Rail Technology Magazine Online which, along with providing industry leading editorial content, generates in excess of 40,000 visitors a month. On average 28,000 of those visitors apply for jobs and register their CV.
“We have generated a staggering 23,000 vacancy applications to approximately 2,000 jobs since the 1st of April, which equates to an impressive 11.5 applications per job advertised on the site,” says Roy Rowlands, Business Development Manager at rtmjobs.com.
Since the site’s official launch in April, rtmjobs.com has grown its CV database to an impressive 13,000 registered candidates by the end of November. The rapid success can be attributed to targeted marketing campaigns which have ensured both the quantity and quality of job seekers visiting rtmjobs.com.
“2009 was a tough year for recruitment on the whole,” continues Rowlands. “However, the rail industry appears to have bucked the trend when you consider that, on average, 350 new jobs have been added to rtmjobs.com every month since its launch. We intend to increase this by 50 per cent in the first quarter of 2010.”
